DESCRIPTION:Course Length: 16 hours\nCourse Description\nComprehensive Night Vision is a multifaceted course designed to build upon the concepts covered in our Professional Night Vision Course.  This is a tactics and theory-based course stressing the development of night vision device usage.  Students will increase competency with their NVG unit, MFAL, Rifle and Handgun though specific drills designed to reinforce the concepts and fundamentals.  Students will learn to work with their NVG system in a multitude of environments including the shoot house.  This is an advanced course requiring students to demonstrate exceptional firearms safety and manipulation.\nInstructional material covered\n\nFirearms safety\nConcepts / mindset\nMFAL zeroing\nNVG Searching techniques\nNVG Engagement techniques\nNVG / White light transitions\nNVG CQB techniques\nScenario based exercises\nPost engagement processes\n\nRequired equipment\n\nRifle with at least 3 magazines (Rifle must have a sling)\n\nRifle needs to be zeroed prior to the class\nMFAL (Multifunction Aiming Laser)\n\n\nRifle mounted light and sufficient batteries (Required)\nNight Vision Unit\n\nHelmet or skullcrusher with shroud\nNight vision mount and JArm\n\n\nHandgun with at least 3 magazines\nHolster and magazine pouches (At least one pistol pouch and one rifle pouch)\n\nHolster must attach to the belt and provide sufficient retention to prevent the firearm from falling out during moderate physical activity.
